The Boyd County one act team traveled to Springview for NVC competition on November 16. Fifteen talented students took the stage to present, “Wishful Thinking” by Kenneth R. Preuss.
The entertaining performance brought many laughs from the audience; however, we faced some stiff competition, and our performance ranked 5th out of the 8 schools. While each team member’s contribution is necessary to the play’s success, special acting recognition was given to Jake Froman, Natalie Hausmann, Haylie Carson and Brynn Almgren.
We will head out to Randolph in the wee morning hours on November 30 for District competition. We have some work to do, so we will hit the stage and get this play polished up! The show goes on!
