2025 Niobrara Valley Choral Clinic

On Monday, November 10, 2025, Boyd County Senior High hosted the 2025 Niobrara Valley Choral Clinic. Seven schools brought choir students to sing together in one large choir. They were directed by the guest clinician Krista Sipes from Central Valley Public Schools. Mrs. Sipes worked with the students the whole day to prepare four songs for the evening's concert and Mrs. Sue Barnes was the amazing piano accompanist for the event. The songs included Try Everything arranged by Alan Billingsley, The Glory from An American Musical arranged by Roger Emerson, River In Judea arranged by John Leavitt, and O Sifuni Mungu arranged by Roger Emerson. Boyd County and Ainsworth also performed individual selections at the concert and the director’s sang Rockin’ Robin arranged by Roger Emerson.
NVC Choir and Band Clinics are the few opportunities our schools get to do something together instead of competing against each other. The Concert was very amazing. Thank you to everyone who came and supported the choir students. Also, a huge thank you to the students, directors, Mrs. Sipes, Mrs. Barnes, and all the Boyd County Faculty who helped make the day so successful.
