Prom 2019: Glitz and Glam

The Boyd County Prom was held Saturday, April 30th in the Boyd County west campus gym located in Butte. The juniors used a lot of creativity and some decorations borrowed from the O’Neill schools to create a beautiful backdrop for the evening with a theme of “Glitz and Glamor”. The night began with a social hour where prom goers could enjoy conversation with punch. Once all of the pictures were taken, they enjoyed a dinner of chicken breasts, green beans, and potatoes with cheesecake for dessert.
The grand march concluded with the crowning of the king and queen. Cory Lechtenberg was crowned king and Elsie Magwire was crowned queen. A good time was had by all at the dance. The fun continued with games, food, and prizes at the 80’s themed post prom party.
