The Advanced Foods & Nutrition class has been busy learning about preparing foods from scratch rather than buying convenience foods all the time as a part of living a healthier lifestyle in the present and in the future as adults. They are learning about the differences in nutrients, preservatives, tastes, ingredients, and preparation and cooking techniques. In these photos students are preparing homemade egg noodles and homemade pumpkin and alfredo sauces, while practicing proper safety and sanitation guidelines.
