The Spartan Junior High Football team traveled to Stuart and suffered a 26-36 setback. Boyd County got down early and was unable to recover. The Broncos were able to move the ball well, while the Spartans had drives that sputtered out. Offensively, the Spartans continued their strong running game with Karter Reed scoring one TD and Hudson Hoffman scoring 2. Hoffman also ran on a PAT. Deegan Johnson, Cash Sinclair, and Brett Koenig also had strong runs behind the Big Boyd County line. BC was able to get a little through the air, with Hoffman connecting with Dawson Shipman for a long touchdown late.
