The first graders recently learned about how sound travels. At the end of the unit, they made phones, the new fad. These phones don’t come with a monthly phone bill, are very low maintenance, and a new favorite for first graders in Butte. They learned they needed to keep the string tight to work properly and not to pull too tight otherwise they would be disconnected. Each student got to take one home.
