Launch the media gallery 1 playerTwo Boyd County High School Seniors have been notified that they can now call themselves published authors! Joseph Hiatt and Ashley Hausmann each submitted a poem to Appelley Publishing for the National Student Poetry Contest.
Their poems are being published in the Appelley Publishing 2020 Rising Stars Collection. They will be 2 of the 500 students being published out of nearly 5,000 nationwide applicants.
Joseph’s poem, “Sensational Change”, addresses the disruption and of our modern-day Congressional system. Ashley’s poem, “To Work Within the Smoke", explores the experiences and sensations of branding cattle.
