The Boyd County Junior High Girls Basketball team began their season recently. The first game saw the Spartans traveling to Bonesteel. Paige Drueke scored 5 points as the team gained some valuable experience.
The Spartans were much improved as they traveled to West Holt for their second game. Drueke again led the team with 12 points. Brynn Almgren and Mercedes Brooks each added 4 points. Addison Birmeier and McKenzie Snyder completed the scoring with 2 and 1 each.
The team will continue their season with two games the first week in December.
