The Boyd County Junior High Girls traveled to St. Mary's on Monday night and came away with two close wins. In the opening game a variety of scorers was key as the Spartans escaped with a 15-14 victory. Claire Reiman led the way with 6 points, Destiny Bennett 2, Mazee Johnson 2, Ashlynn Finnegan 2, Jaylee Lechtenberg 2 and ReNae Kluckman 1.
BC jumped out to an early lead and hung on to win a 12-8 victory in the second game. Scoring for the Spartans were Alaina McBride 4, Alana Widstrom 2, Kyla McCarthy 2, Kaci Koenig 2, and Maddy Brown 2.
